From the Matese National Park

In the territory of Sassinoro, on the hills at the foot of the Matese, the Bake farm was established on land abandoned for more than fifty years, located at the edge of oak forests.

We cultivate and process medicinal plants and, from the very beginning, we have set ourselves the goal of trying to preserve the delicate balance between man and nature.

How we work

We cultivate species native to the Mediterranean area, which adapt well to the climate and soil of Matese.

We use natural straw mulch to protect plants from drought and to add organic matter to the soil

We harvest the plants during their balsamic period to obtain a high-quality essential oil.

We do not use synthetic fertilizers, only organic manure and natural foliar fertilizers.

We do not use pesticides, and we promote biological pest control. Our organic farm certificate guarantees it.

We carry out the processing in-house, immediately after harvesting, just a few meters from the field.

Our products

From our passion and continuous work come essential oils, hydrosols, condiments, and liqueur.

All made with our lavender, rosemary, sage, and thyme plants.
